1. Overview

Its principle involves installing the pump impeller within the motor's rotor cavity, forming an integrated whole with the rotor. The rotor acts as the impeller housing, transforming the traditionally non-functional parts of the motor into active working components. During operation, water flows straight through the rotor cavity. This design retains the advantages of submerged electric pumps, including cost-effectiveness, compact structure, easy installation, low noise, and efficient heat dissipation. Due to the straight-through flow path, fully submerged axial-flow pumps exhibit excellent hydrodynamic performance, smooth flow channels, and high overall efficiency. They are primarily used in mechanical-electrical drainage and irrigation projects, flood prevention and drainage systems, or combined low-lift, high-flow water intake applications requiring both drainage and irrigation functions.
